Faculty of Economics International Office

Istanbul University Faculty of Economics claims to be a faculty that strengthens its position in the international arena with more than 600 international students, over 50 bilateral agreements with reputable universities all over the world and exchange students and academic staff that it sends and accepts every year. In support of this claim, the Faculty of Economics International Office was established to serve the following objectives:

• Increasing student and academic staff mobility within the scope of Erasmus and Mevlana exchange programs and Memorandum of Understanding of Istanbul University,
• Increasing international academic interaction within the framework of the "Visiting Scholar Program",
• Increasing the number of double degree programs of the faculty and ensuring their effective use,
• Leading the projects that bring academic staff and international students together under the  "Research Unit" within the office,
• Conducting the paperwork of our outgoing and incoming students within the scope of our exchange programs and other bilateral agreements,
• Providing orientation programs to international students of the faculty,
• Organizing academic and social events that bring international and Turkish students together.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Billur ENGIN BALIN was appointed as the General Coordinator of the Faculty of Economics International Office, Dr. Betul MUTLUGUN and Nurbanu YASAR was assigned as the vice-coordinators. The office will be located on the 1st floor in the Faculty of Economics Annex Building 2.
